The hat was...Thanks, Nadia, for stopping by again! The hat was a bit more work than I had first thought, but I like the way it turned out...and I know that Little Miss Alannah will like it. She loves color and her favorite color is "glitter". <br /><br />I've always been a cat person (well, we got a dog last year -- but that's another story). <br /><br />My granddaughter (the lucky kid), age 4 1/2, picked out the cat fabric herself. She and her dad picked out the pink, purple and blue fabrics for sashing/borders/binding. However, instead of the traditional square blocks, I think I'll go a different route and tilt the cats within the quilt squares -- fun, fun.
