I don't want to cut up the large flowers on these fat quarters, so I think the logical thing would be to feature them as big, big center squares. I'm thinking about 14"-16" squares, and then cutting the sashing about 6" wide. It's another project so soon after the Halloween quilt (which remains unquilted), but I can't let my sewing machine cool down...if you sew, you know what I mean.

Hi, BJ. I really like your choice of fabrics here--very pleasing. I'd have a tough time cutting into the flowers, too! I think you have a good solution. I also liked your Halloween quilt--good design and great choice of fabrics.
best, nadia
Thanks so much for visiting my blog again, Nadia. I'm still learning as I go, quilting my way through my fabric stash -- and thanks for your comments. It's always uplifting to hear compliments from another fabric/fiber artist.
I visited your blog and I sat in amazement as I read the story behind your coffe cups quilt. You are, indeed, a gifted artist. And thank you for sharing...
