hammered ... again

... don't know what this plant is called ... summer green has turned to red ...

... a smushy muslin sandwich ...

... like a Rorschach test on my orange kitchen countertop ... letting it 'set' for a few days to see the results ...

Hi, BJ. Love your hammering experiments. I think I'm going to try this. I already hammer tiles for mosaics. And I'm pleased to hear that you've decided to restore your grandmother's quilt. When I see articles about items (like pillows) made from old quilts, I always wonder if that quilt couldn't have been saved with a bit of time and effort.
best, nadia

The hammering experiments have expanded more than I had originally intended. But I'm one who goes with the flow...because there's always something unexpected to be seen and learned.

Several years ago, there was a fad of wearing coats made from cut up quilts. Those coats aren't "in fashion" any more. It's sad that so many quilts were sacrificed.

It's always nice to hear from you, Nadia :o)
